Your day adventure begins with a morning drive from Marrakech to Imlil, known as the “Moroccan Chamonix.” Your ride starts here, climbing an asphalt track that gradually ascends to the mountaintop village of Tamatert. From there, you’ll wind your way up the zigzag route to the Tizin’Tamatert pass at 2300m. Take a moment to enjoy the panoramic views of the Toubkal peak and the sublime mountain slopes.
From the pass, you can choose your descent: a thrilling single track or a scenic off-road route. You’ll journey down through the beautiful Imnan Valley, with amazing views of the cultivated terraces and traditional Berber villages. After a freshly cooked lunch in the village of Arg, you’ll continue your descent to Asni. From there, you’ll take a welcome break for the 1-hour drive back to Marrakech.
Ride Profile: 49 km of mixed off-road and single track, with 1460m of ascent and 1970m of descent.

Marrakech Pickup/Drop-off
Pickup: You will be picked up from your accommodation. If your riad is not accessible by car, the driver will park nearby and come to get you.
Drop-off: We will drop you off at the nearest possible point to your riad. Our guide can call your riad to have someone meet you.
Vibrant Local Culture: You’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the vibrant, weekly Berber markets, a colorful spectacle where locals gather to trade goods and socialize.
A Rider’s Choice: You will have the choice of two exciting descent options: either a technical, flowing single track for more experienced riders, or a wider, scenic off-road trail.
Scenic River Trail: The route continues on a rolling dirt road that meanders alongside the river, taking you through a picturesque landscape dotted with traditional Berber villages.
Panoramic Views: The path transitions to a dirt road that gradually climbs, rewarding you with an increasingly dramatic and sweeping panoramic view over the majestic High Atlas and the beautiful Ourika Valley.
